Welcome to the website of lyric coloratura soprano Janna Kysilko. I am a classical singer and teach voice lessons in the Twin Cities area. Currently completing a doctorate at the Eastman School of Music, where I hold a Master's and studied with Dr. Robert McIver, I have returned to my native Minnesota to perform and teach.
Twin Cities Voice Lessons
I offer private voice lessons at my Saint Paul studio for beginning through professional level students engaged in singing and voice acting. Coming from across the metro areas of St. Paul and Minneapolis for voice lessons, my students learn how to develop healthy breathing and vocal techniques as well as refine their vocal artistry and musicianship. Students pursue a wide range of vocal music in diverse languages, from classical bel canto repertoire to popular broadway musical showpieces. Monthly performance and master classes offer students a regular chance to sing in a fun and supportive environment, and many students form small ensembles to sing duet, trio, and quartet literature. Janna Kysilko Performance
I perform internationally as a recitalist and soprano soloist in opera, oratorio, orchestral, and chamber repertoire. As a classical singer, my musical interests range from baroque opera to contemporary art song, and I particularly specialize in repertoire of the classical era and German Lieder.
