Janna Kysilko Voice Lessons & Performance
Welcome to the website of soprano Janna Kysilko, a classical singer and voice teacher in the Twin Cities area. Janna is a lyric coloratura educated at the Eastman School of Music and Macalester College. Returning to her native Saint Paul after living abroad in Vienna, Janna brings her love of opera and art song to audiences and students alike.
Voice Lessons
Janna offers private voice lessons at her Saint Paul studio for beginning through professional level students engaged in singing and voice acting. Students learn how to develop healthy breathing and vocal techniques as well as refine their vocal artistry and musicianship while pursuing a wide range of vocal music in diverse languages. From baroque opera to classical bel canto repertoire to broadway showpieces, students are encouraged to explore musical literature suited to their interests and voice types. Performance
Janna has performed internationally as a recitalist and soprano soloist in opera, oratorio, orchestral, and chamber repertoire. As a classical singer, her musical interests range from baroque opera to contemporary art song, with particular specialties in repertoire of the classical era and German Lieder.
