Monthly and quarterly lesson packages are for students who prefer committing to a regular weekly lesson time and are willing to make-up canceled lessons. Students in monthly or quarterly lessons receive a 17-27% discount on lessons and free registration for monthly studio classes.

Studio Policies

Students who wish to reserve a regular lesson time must sign up for monthly or quarterly lessons. Individual lessons are scheduled on a week-by-week basis, and students signing up for regular lessons have scheduling priority.

Students taking individual lessons may pay at the time of the lesson. While 24 hour cancellation is requested, missed lessons will only be charged when no prior cancellation at all is given.

Fees for monthly and quarterly lessons are due on the first of the month or quarter. With at least 24 hour notice, lessons may be re-scheduled, otherwise they may be forfeit.

With 24 hour cancellation, a message may be left at my e-mail address, home phone, or cell phone and the lesson will be considered canceled. With less than 24 hour notice, lessons may only be considered canceled if I have been reached in person or responded to a message. Students needing to cancel a lesson are asked to give as much advance notice as possible so that a make-up lesson can be arranged.

Canceled lessons must be made up in the same month/quarter; they may not be applied as credit towards the following month/quarter. Only in cases of prolonged illness may unused portions of monthly fees be applied towards a future month.

In the event that I must cancel a session, notice will be given as early as possible, a make-up time will be offered, and if no alternative arrangements can be made, the fee for that session can either be refunded or applied towards the next month.

Students should feel free to arrive 5-10 minutes early for their scheduled lesson time to avoid running late. Every attempt will be made to give students their full lesson time, but students arriving late should realize that this is not always possible as lessons are often scheduled back to back.
